Everyone is welcome here!

As we continue our journey to creating a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone to work, we’re excited to launch our new inclusion networks for colleagues.

An inclusion network is a colleague led group whose members share characteristics or backgrounds or who want to act as allies with that group. The purpose of our inclusion networks is to create a safe space where colleagues can come together to share experiences, drive engagement and challenge when progress is not made.

Our inclusion networks cover:

Women
Our women's inclusion network is creating a Society where gender opportunities and balance is fair. We're committed to reaching at least 50% female representation across all roles in the Society by the end of 2025 and we're proud of the progress we've made. However, we know some key roles are still under-represented by women and our women's inclusion network will help us to achieve our target. With our CEO, Debbie Robinson as the Executive sponsor and co-leads Jess Connolly, People Manager, and Abbey Palmer, Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager, there’s plenty of passion behind this network.

Under 25s
Our under 25s inclusion network is creating a Society where generations work together to support young people, with support from Executive sponsor, Sarah Dickins, Chief Customer, Member and People Officer, and co-leads, Ellie Lockley, People Advisor and Ben Grove, Senior Operational Excellence Manager. We're committed to an engagement score of 4.2 or higher in our Let's Listen for our colleagues who are under 25 and we know our under 25s network will allow young colleagues to help shape the decisions we make as a business whilst breaking down barriers.

LGBTQIA+
Executive sponsor, Andy Peake and co-leads Fay Warner, Store Manager and Sam Judge, Senior Format Proposition Manager, head up our LGBTQIA+ colleague network. We're committed to reaching to reaching an engagement score of 4.2 or higher in Let's Listen and our LGBTQIA+ inclusion network will help us to achieve our target. Whether a member of the LGBTQIA+ community looking for a safe space to connect with others or a colleague looking to learn how to be a better ally, our LGBTQIA+ inclusion network is a place to feel supported and heard.

Ethnicity
Our ethnicity inclusion network is creating a Society where we embrace our ethnic and cultural diversity. We're committed to reaching 10% or more minority ethnic representation across all roles by the end of 2025 and our ethnicity inclusion network will help us to achieve our target. Executive sponsor, Selina Butterfield-Mashoofi is full of passion, alongside co-leads Kiran Bhogal, Senior Funeral Operations Manager and Sophie Grove, Loss Prevention Advisor.

Disability
Our disability inclusion network is creating a Society where opportunities are accessible for all, with support from Executive sponsor, Paul Dennis, Chief Operations Officer, and co-leads Ryan Close, Store Manager and Yvonne Smith, Senior Retail Operations Manager. We're committed to reaching 75% or more disability disclosure rates. Increasing the amount of colleague's who share this information will help us to better understand what we're doing well and what we can do better to support our disabled colleagues. Our disability inclusion network will help us to achieve our disclosure rate target and support us in understanding how we can make things better.

Colleagues, if you’re passionate about creating a place to work where everyone feels included and welcomed, then be a difference maker and join one of our inclusion networks.
