What is an MCC?

A Membership Community Council (MCC) is a group of local people who join together to make a positive impact on their community.

Local communities are at the heart of what we do, so it’s important to build strong connections between members, colleagues and people living locally. It’s what makes us co-operative.

An MCC gets a grant for their local area and helps to plan activities, events and classes. Some of the great causes include:

- Arts & Crafts
- Dance classes
- Gardening
- Educational workshops in schools
- Local fêtes
