Don’t miss the chance to serve your community as temporary roles created

Date Published: 19/08/2021 | Blog category: Eastern

The deadline is approaching for two roles at Central England Co-op supporting the membership and community team in the Eastern region.

The Society is on the lookout for two people passionate about their community who could take on the roles of Member and Community Events Co-ordinators to support the work of our Eastern Membership & Community Council.

This is a field-based opportunity, covering two areas within Peterborough and Cambridgeshire and Norfolk (parts of Suffolk).

Reporting to one of our Member and Community Relations Officers, the roles will involve working with our members and local community groups and have responsibility for the delivery of membership and community activity across the region.

You will provide the important link between our members, communities and the Society to promote our unique difference as a member owned, democratic organisation and an ethical and responsible retailer, by encouraging people to take an active role in the Society and in their local communities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about their community and building links with local organisations, schools and groups, as well as spreading the message of co-operation.

These are part-time, fixed-term roles to cover maternity leave and interested candidates are urged to get in touch as soon as possible.

You can find out more about the roles and apply on the Central England Co-op website here https://www.cecjobs.coop/vacancy-details/13729
