Understanding Food Eco Systems

A very successful event at West Raven Community Cafe and Gardens discussing local food eco systems across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.

The event was to look at how we collectively reduce food miles, waste and in particular better ways of recycling or growing food across the regions.

Presentations were made on Food Strategy for Peterborough, Transportation and community solutions were debated and looking for co-operative solutions.  Author, Duncan Cathpole gave a talk on his book about Sustainable Food Systems.  

The event was organised by Central England Co-operative's Eastern Member & Community Council, SEEE - Social Enterprise East Midlands and local authorities.
