Property team hit target with Bowls Club donation

Members of Derby Co-op Bowls Club can now take a load off their feet after a game, on furniture donated by Central England Co-op.

The Society’s property team have recycled used furniture from Spondon Funeral Home which was removed following a recent refurbishment, for the benefit of the club which provides competition, fun, friendship and camaraderie for the local community.

The table and selection of chairs are now in their new home at the Littleover-based club thanks to Central England Co-op Property Project Delivery Manager Rowland Woolley, who helped deliver the chairs to the club who were delighted to accept the donation.
