Salt dough making in Ripley

Working with Grow Outside in Ripley the Northern MCC supported two workshops; one in the Ripley Cafe making salt dough decorations and one at Grow Outside making wreaths.

Both workshops were interactive and enjoyed by all. Salt dough was really easy to make but very, very messy!!

What was also good about the workshops was that a mixture of ages helped to exchange some generational skills and it was a joy to watch.

The Ripley cafe was a great place to offer the workshop as the cafe area is free after 4pm and can be used for plenty of community events.
