Central Co-op celebrates an App-y 1st birthday to its Membership App

Central Co-op is excited to celebrate the first anniversary of our mobile app with a £2 off £20 voucher for Members. Since its launch in March last year, the Central Co-op App has revolutionised the way Members engage with us, providing convenience, offers and updates at your fingertips. Running from 25th March to 7th April, Members can enjoy a £2 off £20 receipt voucher when they make a purchase in store.

The App can be used to find your nearest store, funeral home or florist, learn about what Member events are happening locally on the Membership Blog, and stay up to date with the latest offers, including reduced prices on Mother’s Day and Easter treats.

Central Co-op has plenty of special offers to treat mum, no matter her taste, from indulgent chocolates to a bottle of sparkling. Members can gift the bottle of Co-op’s award winning Les Pioneers champagne and Irresistible champagne truffles combo – mum will never know it’s only £25! While beautiful bouquets start from just £8.

With Easter just around the corner, there are offers on a wide range of chocolate eggs, hot cross buns and Easter goodies, but the egg everyone wants to get their hands on is the honeycomb marble Irresistible egg for just £7.

In line with the Society’s commitment to serving all in our communities comprehensively, Central Co-op is pleased to introduce a special promotion on will-writing services. Members can benefit from an extra £10 reward on both single and mirror wills, valid for Members throughout March when purchasing through our partner, Co-op Legal Services.

As we continue to evolve and cater to the diverse needs of our communities, Central Co-op is excited to offer a sneak peek into our upcoming venture: Co-op Generation, a new card option tailored for under 16s. This card will not only provide access to Central Co-op’s exclusive Member prices in store, including the £3.50 lunchtime meal deal, but will also serve as a platform for the next generation to engage with co-operative values and sustainable practices. As a co-operative, Central Co-op is Member-owned and Member-led, meaning Members have a large say in how the business is shaped. Central Co-op is excited to announce that voting for the 2024 elections - filling positions on the Society's Board of Directors and the Membership & Community Councils (MCCs) - will open on the 2nd of April until the 29th, with results being announced on Friday 3rd May. All eligible Members - those holding a £1 share for a minimum of 6 months - are invited to participate in the voting process.

In addition to this, Members will be asked to take part in Central Co-op’s annual Membership survey with the aim of amplifying the experience for Members and our communities.
