The season of goodwill is almost upon us and throughout November we’ll once again be collecting donations for our Toy Appeal.
We believe that every child should have a present to open at Christmastime. Our Toy Appeal will collect your brand new gift donations at 50 selected stores between 11th Nov to 6th Dec to redistribute to children across the country.
This year we’re visiting the 50 participating stores across our trading area with a branded Toy Van providing awareness of the Toy Appeal, a chance to chat with our store teams and build some much-needed cheer in the lead up to Christmas. During these visits you will get to taste samples from our delicious festive range - see stores below.
As in previous years, we’ll donate some of what we collect to local charities close to our stores and we’ll also work with national charities to deliver gifts to families in need further afield.
If you’re planning a visit to one of our community stores, or you’re free to join us when we visit with our Toy Van, please consider bringing a brand new toy or game that you can donate for a child who might otherwise go without.
Humanitarian appeal for the Middle East
Central Co-op is supporting an urgent Disasters Emergency Committee humanitarian appeal for the Middle East.
The horrific impact of this conflict warrants an urgent national appeal. Co-ops have come together to secure the necessary funds to support conflict-affected communities in Gaza, Lebanon, and the surrounding region where families have been displaced.
