Music being made by members

Members of our Central Co-op Music Member Group in Birmingham met recently. I went along to see the group and take a look (listen) at what they are doing.

The group were talking and singing through a song they have written, and putting the music to the words. The song is weird, wacky, and strange with a full undertone of humour. seeing and hearing this song come together was brilliant, and I look forward to listening to the final version in the coming months.

New members to the group are very welcome, and there is no entry level in terms of music knowledge or experience, but this is is not a group to learn music, more a group to practice Songwriting in a fun way.

The group meet every second Thursday at Stirchley Baths in Birmingham and costs £3 per session for Central Co-op Members. For more information on this group, or any other Central Co-op Member Groups please email member.community@centralcoop.co.uk
