A Flying Start to Co-operative Fortnight for the Southern MCC

The Southern MCC have had a flying start to Co-operative Fortnight with ambassadors supporting various events across the region.  With better weather over the weekend, free healthy fruit kebabs went down a treat at both a Health & Well-being weekend in Kettering and at the Groby Street Fair in Leicester.  Ambassadors and retail colleagues worked together to promote our membership and raised funds for the Dementia UK,  and truly engaged with the communities in which we trade.  We also supported the Jo Cox Picnic for residents living in Eyres Monsell by donating food and promoting our membership.  Meanwhile, two of our ambassadors attended Co-op Congress in Manchester which is an opportunity to attend various workshops and meet like-minded co-operators.
