Festive Wreath Making

We now have five floristry classes running in Fleckney for our members, under the expertise of our Tutor Sharon McKinder. The classes tend to follow the seasons and what could be better than making a Christmas Wreath or a Christmas Table Display at this time of year. It has now become part of the tradition that Sharon invites Jody, from our team, and myself to take part at Christmas time and to enjoy a mincepie and a cup of tea with the members from the class.

For someone who is not very creative, Sharon is a brilliant tutor and is patient and skillful and has this wonderful knack for finding your inner creativity. At Christmas time, Sharon also helps to raise funds for the church by holding wreath making sessions on Saturdays too.

We have lots of educational and recreational classes from Watercolour Painting, Soft Furnishing, Calligraphy, Keep Fit, Yoga to Embroidery across our region, all at subsidised prices for Central Co-op members.
