Dear Friend of Ratae,
The Ghost Train (Revised)
Arnold Ridley’s classic comedy-thriller
This autumn Ratae Co-operative Players will be 75 years old. We can’t quite believe it! Our sincere thanks must go to all our many patrons both past and present who have supported us through all those years. We think being 75 is an achievement worth celebrating and to get our 2024/25 Season off to a flying start we have chosen to perform Arnold Ridley’s classic comedy-thriller The Ghost Train (Revised) directed by Russell Hughes, from Thursday 3rd to Saturday 5th October. The play was first produced in 1925 and has been filmed no less than three times. A group of mismatched train passengers find themselves stranded in a dark and isolated station, having missed the last connection of the night. Tales of superstition prevail!
The Thursday and Friday performances will be at 7:15 pm and the Saturday performance at 2:30 pm. We are delighted to welcome to the cast three new members: Colum McNabb, Elizabeth Spendlove and Gemma Wright with the remainder of the cast being: Adam Jones, Claire Johnson, Dan Bools, David Stevens, Joel Newton, Phill Stevens and Terrie Dodds. They would all be delighted if you came to support them!
All tickets are priced at £10:00. The easiest way to book is online by going to our website www.rataeplayers.co.uk and clicking on “Book Now TicketSource”. If you prefer to pay by cheque, then please complete the attached booking form and send it with your remittance to: Mr. A. Please note that the new number for telephone bookings is 0333 666 3366.
We look forward once again to welcoming you to The Oasis Centre at Oadby Baptist Church.
