Rocket around Ratby

On Bank holiday Monday, the Southern Membership & Community Council joined colleagues at our Ratby Store, who supported the Rocket around Ratby event, celebrating space.  The local school also got involved with the event and their designs of all things space, from colourful rockets to spaceships, were displayed in the store.  The talented Gary at a local Men's Shed group created a 5ft life sized figure which was dressed up as an astronaut (as per the image).  Along with lots of fun activities and treats, the Ratby Co-operative Band also joined in the celebrations, performing in the store's carpark.
