Southern MCC support EID event

Our Membership & Community Council braved the cold weather on Easter Sunday to take part in an event close to our Evington Road Store in Leicester. Working alongside colleagues from the store, there was plenty going on with raffles and "take aways" for later in the evening. Our MCC members took the opportunity to speak to members from the community about the benefits of membership and our Membership App, which is just celebrating its first birthday.
As a result of the event, 25 new members signed up to our App and can now start enjoying the amazing member offers that we have in store, and all the additional member benefits on offer. Events such as these, help us to engage with the wider community and take the time to explain the Co-op Values and Principles and what it means to be part of our Co-op.
