Community Days at Central England Co-operative

Recently we teamed up with our Retail stores in Lichfield and Stafford to hold some community days with the aim of promoting our co-operative difference.

During the events we spoke with members and customers about Co-operative membership and community work and what we do to support our local members, talked about membership and the benefits of being a member as well as making fruit kebabs. At the events we were joined by community groups, the local Police and also our funeral department.

Our funeral department brought their horses and carriage and allowed the community to have rides. lots of young people enjoyed the rides, and the store raised money for Dementia UK
