On Tuesday the 3rd of December the Great Barr Musical Theatre Co-op performed Christmas Carols in St Paul's Church in Great Barr.
MCC Member Shaz Rahman writes about his experience below.
A delightful evening was had, as traditional Christmas Carols including "O Holy Night" were complimented with classic songs like "Hallelujah" The audience thoroughly enjoyed the singing and joined in on some of the easier songs. There were also tasty cakes and mulled wine for us all to enjoy.
I spoke to Committee Member Craig, " It's a great event because it brings together different groups. It strengthens the bond between us. It's nice, as a casual performance, and a chance to enjoy the celebration. A real joyous time."
Having spoken to a couple of members of the choir, it was obvious that the Co-op is a family, who have great fun together learning and performing for the local community.
