Membership and Funeral support young people in Walsall

Recently colleague from our Funeral Home in Walsall and myself went along to Walsall College to engage with young people during their Career Event.

During the day, we spoke with many young people and their tutors on the benefits of working for Central Co-op, our Apprenticeships, and also why working for a Co-op is a good thing. Our Funeral Team answered many questions on the types of roles we have, and spoke to a couple of young people about the opportunity of Work Experience.

I spoke about membership to the young people and about our education workshops, including Mind Your Money and Finance workshops to the Tutors, who were keen to have me back and deliver these sessions to their young people.

A very good day with lots of interaction, ideas, and inspiration.
